Please Note: Applications for computers will only be accepted from a teacher, or other relevant professional, and only up to the cost of a refurbished device (around £250)

Living in Somerset, North Yorkshire, or East Yorkshire
Purpose
An educational need that can be achieved through targeted help
Who Can Submit an Application?
- Schools, local authorities, and parish councils
- Youth organisations such as the Scouts or Duke of Edinburgh Award programmes
- Care-leaving services, community groups, and other support organisations
- Social workers and other professional support workers
- Parents or guardians applying on a young person’s behalf
- Young people aged 16 and over may apply directly for support

Steel-capped boots for a building apprenticeship
A swimming qualification towards a job in leisure
Special clothing to take up a place at agricultural college
Academic books for a college course
Travel expenses to education or work experience
Exam and tuition fees for someone restarting their education
Counselling for boys struggling to stay in school
A musical scholarship at a summer school
Outward bound sessions for boys at risk of NEET
The hire of a room to teach a group at the YMCA

Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Grants typically range from £100 to £500 and are awarded at the discretion of the Trustees.
